Dedicated to the memory of Hugh O'Malley

Our wonderful, kind, and gentle father Hugh O’Malley passed away peacefully surrounded by all his family on Friday 22nd March 2024.

It was a beautiful spring day filled with daffodils and sunshine, just what he loved.

Dad was a true gentleman, quiet and humble in his ways. He saw the best in everyone and always appreciated the small and beautiful parts of life. He was an inspiration to all who knew him.

We will miss his wise words, quiet sense of humour and determined lust for a happy life dearly.

Dad never let anything stop him being the best father, grandfather, husband and friend to all. He loved people and making them happy.

Funeral arrangements are as follows:

Dad will start his final journey from home on Thursday the 25th of April to St Urbans Catholic Church, Grove Road, LS6 2AQ.

Requiem mass will be held at 11am.

Following mass he will be buried with his parents at Killingbeck Cemetery.

We would like to invite everyone back to Leeds Irish Centre for refreshments and an opportunity to share stories and further celebrate his life.

Donations to St Gemma’s Hospice, where he spent his last days will be greatly appreciated in his honour.
